SNEAK PEEK Age: 5+ Players: 2-4 Equipment: 8x8 cards Object of the game: to win the most sets of cards Either: 3 of one colour Or        3 of one symbol Or        2 matching pairs on 3 cards, one pair of a colour, one pair of a shape   To Play: Thoroughly shuffle the pack and place the cards face down. Decide the order of play. The first player turns the top 3 cards face up on the table. If they are a match then that player keeps them and turns up the next three, etc. If there is not a match, the cards are left face up for a few seconds so that all players can see and memorise them. Then they are turned face down, separated, on the table. In turn, each player turns over 3 cards. They can all 3 be from the top of the pack OR all 3 from those already turned face down on the table OR a mixture of „new“ and „old“ cards. If all 3 match in any of the ways shown, that player keeps the three cards and carries on playing, turning over 3 more cards and if they also match – carry on playing. If at any time the 3 cards do not match, they are turned face down in the same places that they sat when face up. The turn then passes to the next player. When all cards from the face-down pack are now, separately, face down on the table and every player has had a turn and no-one has made a matching set of 3, the game ends. The WINNER is the player who has the most cards.   SLEEK SEEK To Play: Thoroughly shuffle the pack and place the cards face down. Decide the order of play. Each player in turn turns over one card and places it face-up on the table. As soon as a player sees a match: either 3 of one colour or 3 of one symbol or 2 matching pairs on 3 cards, one pair of a colour, one pair of a shape (see SNEAK PEEK diagrams) the player calls out „Seek!“ and takes the three cards. If two or more players call „Seek!“ simultaneously, the three cards are removed from play. If a player calls „Seek!“ mistakenly, then the player places the last card won face upwards on the table. Play continues untill all cards are face up on the table. Play finishes when no more 3-card matches can be made. The WINNER is the player who has won the most cards.
